OBITUARY.
Mrs Adeline E. Prisk, wife of Mr John Prisk, passed peacefully
away at her daughter and son-in-law's residence, New Norfolk, on
Satur day, at the age of 61 years. Before coming to New Norfolk
the family resided at Glenora, where they were highly respected.
Mrs Prisk assisted with all charity work though suffering
physical disabilities. , She always displayed keen interest in
cricket, and attended every match of importance in the town.
The
funeral arrangements were carried out on Monday. Numerous
wreaths were sent. Rev. Father Read officiated, and the funeral
arrangements were in the hands of Messrs Alex. Fyle and Son.

WOMEN. A cablegram w as received yesterday by- Mr. and Mrs. J.
G. Brown, of New Norfolk, stating that their only daughter, Mrs.
Mary -Lilian Pebcrdy, wife of Mr. James Reid Peberdy, had died a
t Nan-tu, B urnish, on the previous day. T he late M rs. Peberdy
w as a m ember of the A ustralian T rained Nurses' Association.
She received the latte r part of her education at the Methodist
(Ladies' College, Launceston, and afterwards at the General
Hospital, Hobart, as a nurse. She then went to Englaund, and
obtained her C.MiB. certificate at Guy's Hospital. On lie r
return from 'Englaud she was appointed sister at Molong Private
Hospital, Dnrllnphurst, Sydney. She was married on March.29 of
this year 'a t the Anglican Church, Rangoon, to Mr. Peberdy. who
is the youngest son- of Mr. T. and the late Mrs. Peberdy. of
Mosman Hay. Sydney
